  • --Supply details required in instruments datasheets and PORs’
  • -Chair/add Values to HAZOP Sessions

Objectives

    At the end of this module, participant will be able to;
  • 1. List the roles and appropriately apply process variable initiators like switches, transmitters, and controllers in a process control, shut off or emergency Blowdown loop;
  • 2. List the functions of and appropriately apply pressure safe guarding appurtenances like PSV, PVSV, RO.
  • 3. List the functions of control valves and appropriately apply these.
  • 4. Develop Safe Chart and take up key roles in Hazard Analysis and Design Review Sessions.
  • 5. Size and select CV, PSV, PVSV, and RO.
  • 6. Raise Datasheets and POR.
  • 7. Apply Level settings requirements for field (or remote) control of liquid levels in a pressure vessels.
  • 8. To determine pressure settings and set points for efficient control of Process Systems, leading to a desired Gas/Liquid ratio.

Duration: Two Weeks

Certification: Esoger Certified Intermediate Level II
