  • What is Process Engineering. What Process Engineers’ do. Esoger PD and EP, BOD and SOW Development. The Process Engineer’s tools.

Objectives

    At the end of this module participants will be able to;
  • 1. List out all the mechanical units associated with onshore, offshore topsides and subsea, Oil & Gas process facilities.
  • 2. Layout a sketch or BFD of these units in the order in which they should occur.
  • 3. Identify all the responsibilities or job functions of the Process Engineer.
  • 4. List out for any one project involvement all required process engineering deliverables.
  • 5. Use global and client specifications/design guidelines
  • 6. Identify the stage of a Project’s execution and hence generate appropriate deliverables.
  • 7. Identify tools and resources required to execute the Project.
  • 8. List out process concerns from a client’s problem scope of work
  • 9. Develop the “Solution Scope of Work” (SSOW)/contract document using Esoger’s template
  • 10. Develop design basis.
